Equine Photographer

I grew up in a beautiful rural area along the central coast of California. My family and I lived on a small ranch where we raised horses and farm animals. My sister and I would roam the hills, valleys and arroyos on our horses from daylight to dusk. I have always enjoyed the feel of a good horse beneath me and the freedom when I am out riding in the back country. There's nothing like the smell of sage brush in the air while riding high upon the chaparral to take the stress out of everyday life. Though life has taken me in many directions, I have stayed close to my roots. Nowadays, my granddaughters, my husband and myself ride as often as we can.

Over the years, I have come to enjoy horses and ranch type of life all the more by capturing them by way of my digital Canon camera. When out riding, or at any horse event, my Cannon is waiting in the saddle bags for the perfect shot. My passion for photography has grown throughout the years and I love what I do!

When not in the saddle, I enjoy taking rare photographs. These include general and close up veterinary-related pictures. My work has been published in Equus, The Horse, Trail Rider, California Cattlemen's Magazine and Calendar, and Rick Machado's Main Event to name a few. You can see more of my featured photos in the "Featured In" section on this website.

Additionally, my husband and I own and operate the Missing Jack Ranch, where we offer all-natural custom fed beef cattle. You can find more information about our ranch by clicking here.
